Uplift Colorado Foster Families
The need for our services to support foster families has doubled due to COVID-19. Your recurring donation helps Foster Source provide FREE:
- Continuing education classes on The Learning Source. When in-person training was suspended due to COVID-19, we moved to live/on-demand online classes & support groups to keep foster parents connected throughout Colorado.
- Car seats, bunk beds & relief services. We sponsor weighted items & mattresses for children in care, as well as items the children need for remote learning like refurbished laptops.
- Virtual therapy & therapeutic services. We also sponsor virtual therapy for foster parents to help them better navigate the stress and secondary trauma that comes with foster parenting. Equine-assisted therapy & other specialized therapies are also available.
- Foster Family Uplift Events throughout CO. We set up in a socially distant, safe location for foster families to drive by and receive family-sized freezer meals, diapers, wipes & gift cards thanks to donors like you .
12 children enter foster care in Colorado every day. Help us support those who care for these children.
Weighted Items
Donations of $12 from just 10 people can fund a weighted item for a child in care.
Beds & Cribs
$12 donations by 12 people pay for a child in care’s crib, bed or mattress.
Trauma Education
Recurring donations of $12 per month by just 12 people fund TWO foster parent trainings.
Mental Health
Recurring donations by 144 people of $12/month fund 244 mental health sessions for foster parents.
